Accident analysis:

The relevant person in charge of the Park Management Division introduced that the equipment had malfunctioned prior to the Spring Festival and was in a state of overhaul. During the incident, only four workers were in maintenance. The initial cause of the fire was a spark for the worker to polish the welding operation. The top of the "flying chair" is a plastic structure. The fire was not originally large. However, with the wind, the flame quickly spread from the top of the device, and smoke suddenly appeared.

The relevant person in charge of the Management Section of the Hunan Martyrs’ Park stated that the daily inspections conducted by the testing department prior to the Spring Festival on the park’s amusement equipment found that the “swinging chair” equipment had a malfunction of the speed reducer, and the park immediately took measures to stop shipment and informed the manufacturer to send someone to repair. At the time of the incident, four workers were polishing the welding work. "The sparks that sparked while sanding caused fire and nobody was injured."

The owner of the nearby shop, Liu Hong (a pseudonym), introduced that the equipment had been out of order before the incident and that there was no tourists to play when the fire broke out.
