Qingdao Trade Union Supervise High-temperature Operation Labor Protection

Since entering the summer, the Qingdao Federation of Trade Unions has demanded that all levels of trade unions take action to earnestly safeguard the health and safety of employees during labor production in high-temperature summer conditions. The city’s leading organization organized a joint inspection team composed of health and safety supervision departments to conduct inspections and spot checks on the high-temperature operation and labor protection in the city, severely investigate and punish illegal activities, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of employees.

At the same time, on the basis of raising funds for the delivery of cool raw materials worth 150,000 yuan, the city allocated 110,000 yuan for the prevention of heatstroke in the first-line workers of the 11 key project units participating in the city's key project labor competition.
