The difference between the elastic test methods of the national standard, German standard, Japanese standard and American standard spring washer

The elastic test of the spring washer is not specified in the US standard. Other national standards clearly stipulate that the elastic test must be carried out. At present, there are two main test methods:

1) The first type is to measure the free height of the spring washer after it has been continuously loaded 3 times according to the specified test load. For specific test loads, GB/T 94.1-2008 and DIN 267-26:1987 use 6.8 bolts to ensure 80% of the load as the test load, and JIS B 1251-2001 uses 4.8 bolts to ensure 65% of the load as the test load; For the free height dimension after the test, GB/T 94.1-2008 shall be not less than 1.67S, and DIN 267-26:1987 and JIS B 1251-2001 shall specify specific values. National standard test load and post-test free height size comparison, see the table below.

2) The second elastic method is to continuously load the spring washer 3 times according to the specified test load, return to the specified height, and measure the remaining rebound force. The rebound force is greater than the specified value. This test method is based on the rebound force and can only be completed on the test machine. Currently, it is only for the AREA railway spring washers exported to the United States.
