The meeting called for the addition of “e-police†to key road sections that are prone to serious traffic violations such as speeding and overloading. It was learned from the meeting that the “9-14†accident was caused by the speeding of the bus and the improper handling of the driver, which caused the vehicle to lose control and roll over, resulting in 12 accidents and 12 injuries. The “10.16†accident was due to the drunk driving of one of the drivers, which caused the two vehicles to collide and the tragedy of 5 dead and 2 injured.
According to statistics, as of October 18 this year, a total of 1,599 road accidents occurred in Shanghai, 710 people were killed and 1,361 were injured, a year-on-year decrease of 7%, 9.2%, and 9% respectively. There were 6 deaths and 3 accidents and 30 deaths, a decrease of 4 cases and 5 persons.
