Recently, relying on the National Catalytic Engineering Technology Research Center of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Science and Technology Support Project undertaken by Dalian Kateley Catalytic Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. “Key technology for the deep purification of exhaust gas rich in carbon monoxide for the synthesis of ethylene glycol "Catalyst Development and Application" passed the project acceptance of the Advanced Technology Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology in Beijing. The Chinese Academy of Science and Technology Promotion and Development Bureau assisted in organizing the acceptance meeting.
Through the report of the project leader Liu Zhenfeng, questions from experts, questions and answers, discussions and exchanges, the expert group believed that the acceptance materials and technical data submitted by the project were complete, the content was complete, and it met the acceptance requirements; the research content specified in the mission book was completed, The prescribed assessment objectives and technical indicators. The expert group unanimously agreed that the project passed acceptance.
The project developed two kinds of catalysts and realized two kinds of catalysts for deep purification of carbon monoxide-enriched tail gas, such as calcium carbide furnace tail gas, natural gas acetylene tail gas, and methanol purge gas, industrial scale up production and industrial demonstration operation. The technology developed by this project has independent intellectual property rights, has applied for two national invention patents, published an article, and prepared two standards for product enterprise standards.
