Mr. Li Lianfeng said that in China, Philips has provided energy-efficient lighting solutions for many industrial enterprises. For example: Taigang and Angang, in the transformation of energy-saving lighting Philips Lighting for the Anshan Iron and Steel Group, Angang Mining Group replaced a total of 13,000 Philips engineering lamps, energy-saving effect is very significant. While achieving energy conservation, the workers reflected that the lights after the renovation were very bright, people feel comfortable and work more vigorously. In terms of improving production efficiency, how does lighting play its magical role? Mr. Li Lianfeng cited examples of high quality lighting applications in automotive testing. In a car-manufactured company, if the car has been shipped to the store, it has been discovered by the consumer and sent back for painting. The cost is very high. Lighting can solve this problem. In the workshop, it is possible to detect the presence of flaws, such as spots and air bubbles, on the surface of the car through a band of light. Automobile manufacturers have greatly improved the productivity of cars by working together with Philips Lighting. Lighting can very accurately reduce product reject rate and repetition rate, and the improved figures are very alarming. For example, the original rate of 10%, through the lighting settings can be reduced to 2%.

Lighting accounts for 19% of global energy consumption, and industrial energy consumption accounts for about 70% of total energy consumption. In China, this proportion is higher due to the coal-based energy structure. Mr. Li Lianfeng believes that today's lighting technology is advancing, and it is moving toward a greener, more energy-efficient way. These increasingly mature lighting technologies are helping to reduce industrial energy consumption. In terms of light sources, high-efficiency metal halide lamps have gradually replaced high energy-consuming lighting products such as mercury lamps. Fluorescent lamps have evolved from the original T12 to the current high-efficiency T8 and T5. In the field of ballasts, ballast consumption has been used in the past. Electricity is greater than 40W, but today's electronic ballast energy consumption is only 5  8W. Philips not only pays attention to the energy saving of lighting sources, ballasts and other components, but also pays great attention to the energy-saving method of the entire system, which makes the lamp and other components achieve the best cooperation to improve the efficiency of light output and improve the quality of lighting.

In the field of industrial lighting, Philips has invested heavily in product innovation. In industrial enterprises, the 3-5m factory buildings are low ceilings. At this height, most of the lighting solutions use a fluorescent lamp system. Today, Philips has brought energy-saving technologies to the high ceiling area. The high ceiling is up to 10m, 12m, 15m or even higher. High-pressure gas discharge lighting systems can be used. For example, the Philips CDMElite lighting system recently introduced by Philips, Philips CDMliteMW has high luminous efficiency up to 120lm/W, and 210W can replace traditional ones. 250W sodium lamp, 315W replaceable 400W sodium lamp light source, more energy-saving. By using an efficient lighting system to make the light distribution more reasonable, more than 30% of the energy saving effect can be achieved, and maintenance and replacement costs can be greatly reduced in the future. Lighting control system is another magic weapon for industrial lighting to save energy. For example, in a warehouse, the entire lighting output can be controlled by sensing whether or not someone is working in a warehouse, so as to achieve energy saving. It is also possible to adjust the output of artificial lighting through the use of natural daylight systems such as Luxsense and Occuswitch, and to ensure sufficient lighting at the workplace while making the system more energy-efficient.

In addition, the LED technology, which represents the future lighting trend, will gradually deepen into industrial lighting. At present, LED has been developed from the initial outdoor applications to indoor, such as in store lighting and office lighting. Now LED has begun to enter the industrial lighting, the current market has been able to see the low ceiling LED lighting system, Philips also has such technology.
