Toolkit can be used to maintain occupational safety

The Liaoning Province Federation of Trade Unions and the Provincial Administration of Work Safety jointly held the launching ceremony of the “Promotion and Application of the ILO Occupational Safety and Health Protection Toolkit for SMEs”, which will use three years to introduce international advanced occupational safety protection concepts for small and medium-sized enterprises in the province. And skills to maintain the occupational safety and health of SME workers.

The ILO addresses the widespread occupational safety and health problems in the workplace of small and medium-sized enterprises, sums up and formulates a set of solutions covering nine categories and 132 items. This program is called a "tool kit." The All-China Federation of Trade Unions has promoted the "Toolkit" as a concrete measure to serve employees and service enterprises, and has identified our province as the first province to promote and apply.

The relevant person in charge of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions stated that the province plans to use it for three years to promote the use of the “tool kit” project in the province. The first batch of 30 pilot enterprises has been identified, involving locksmiths, milling cutters, welders, masonry workers, spray painters. There are 12 major types of work, including sewing and weaving workers, weavers, hoisters, maintenance workers, packers, heat treatment workers, and distribution and distribution workers. It covers 13,557 small and medium-sized enterprises and 946 crews. These companies will formulate feasible improvement measures, form a perfect occupational safety and health checklist and inspection points for the unit, and accumulate practical experience for the wide application of the “toolkit” throughout the province and even the whole country.
