The United States developed the history of the smallest nano-motor

Scientists at the Cockrell School of Engineering at Texas State University have created the world's smallest, fastest, and furthest nanomachines. It is small enough to fit into a single cell and is expected to drive the nanobots carrying drugs in the future and launch attacks on specific cells. Leading this project is Professor Donglei Fan, whose motor structure is very simple and consists of only three parts.

Scientists at the University of Texas have built and tested the world's smallest, fastest, and furthest nanomachines.

Its size is so small that it can even fit into a single cell.

In the future, the nanomotor is expected to carry drugs and launch attacks on specific cells.

With a patented technology that relies on DC/AC electric fields, researchers can bring them together one by one. Compared to the previous design, this nano-motor has a longer life (15 hours) and is able to maintain 18,000 rpm - it's equivalent to a jet engine.

Of course, the control performance of the motor is also surprisingly good, except that it can be set to open or close, and it can even run clockwise or counterclockwise. A paper detailing the nanomotor has been published in the journal Nature Communications.
