Japan's forging machinery order statistics in July 2009

On August 24th, the Japan Forging Machinery Industry Association (JFMA) announced the statistics of orders for Japanese forging machinery for all its members in July 2009. In July, the total number of orders for forging machinery in Japan was 301, a decrease of 66 units from the previous month; the total order amount was 100.19 billion yen, and the order amount fell again, down 16.3% from the previous month and 66.6% from July 2008. Among them, the total number of domestic orders was 142, a decrease of 105 units from the previous month; the order amount was 6.21 billion yen, down 28.3% from the previous month and down 65.9% from the same period of last year; the total number of overseas orders was 159, an increase of 39 units from the previous month, and the order amount was 3.809 billion. The yen increased by 14.9% from the previous month and fell by 67.7% year-on-year.

In terms of specific products, in July, the total number of mechanical press orders was 163, and the order amount was 4.235 billion yen, down 22.0% from June and down 70.4% year-on-year. Domestic and overseas orders fell by 77.2% and 61.3%, respectively. The total number of orders for series shearing machines was 138, with an order value of 2.667 billion yen, a decrease of 11.9% from the previous month and a decrease of 72.5% from the same period of last year. Domestic and overseas orders fell by 68.6% and 76.9% respectively. The order amount involved in other mold parts was 3.17 billion yen, down 11.4% from the previous month and down 66.3% from the same period last year.

Japan’s forging machinery industry experienced a decline in orders in July after experiencing a rebound in orders in June, especially as domestic orders shrank more severely. It can be seen that the forging machinery industry is affected by the weak demand from the domestic automobile, machinery, petrochemical and other industries. The recovery base is not stable. In addition, the international market demand has not recovered significantly. It is expected that the industry will not be fully recovered at one time. The chart below shows the trend of the amount of orders for forging machinery in Japan from July 2008 to July 2009.

Topmount Sink

The installation of the countertop basin is easy, as long as the hole is opened on the countertop. There are a variety of sink edge designs for over-counter basin sink styles to choose from. It is necessary to ensure that the connection gap between the sink and the countertop is uniform, and there is no water seepage.
