Glyphosate itself is hardly soluble in water, but its salt is easily soluble in water, and the salt may have potassium salt, sodium salt, ammonium salt, isopropylamine salt and the like. The active ingredient of various preparations of glyphosate is glyphosate acid, which is acidic and has poor water solubility. After salt formation, the water solubility increases, generally can be formed into ammonium salts and isopropylamine salts, potassium salts, sodium salts, etc., the most common are ammonium salts and isopropylamine salts.
First, from the herbicidal effect, the potassium salt is generally slightly larger than the isopropylamine salt, and the isopropylamine salt is slightly larger than the ammonium salt and the sodium salt. The 41% glyphosate isopropylamine salt indicated that the product is an isopropylamine salt of glyphosate.
The 30% glyphosate solution has the following possibilities:
(1) 30% glyphosate water exists in the form of isopropylamine salt, similar to 40.5% glyphosate isopropylamine saline (slightly lower)
